GOT A WEIRD NAKED IDEA? ASK ME.

Let’s get the most important thing out of the way first:

This is not my Hire Me! page.

If you have a job and want to pay me to do it, fantastic. There’s a whole page for that.

This page is different.

This is where you come when you have an idea!

Maybe you need a nude model. Maybe you’re creating an art project. Maybe you want an unusual guest for a podcast, video, documentary, publication, class, event, or LGBTQ+ project. Maybe you’re another creator and think we could make something together. Maybe you have an idea that is funny, provocative, educational, artistic, sexual, experimental, or just plain weird.

Or maybe the entire idea began with:

“You know what would make this more interesting? A completely naked Shaun McMurtrie.”

You have absolutely come to the right page.

I’m interested in photography, modeling, art, media, interviews, podcasts, documentaries, educational projects, research, LGBTQ+ projects, nudist projects, events, appearances, adult content, creator collaborations, affiliate partnerships, cross-promotion, and things that don’t fit neatly into any of those categories.

And yes, I am completely comfortable being the only naked person involved.

You can keep your clothes on.

Really.

Have the idea already? You don’t need to read another word.

Tell me what you’re thinking. I’d much rather hear an unusual idea than never know you had it.

A QUICK REALITY CHECK: I’M IN PENNSYLVANIA

I’m based in Pennsylvania.

That doesn’t mean every collaboration has to happen here. It does mean geography matters when we’re talking about something I’m doing for free or in trade.

If you’re nearby, great. I am also willing to travel to nearby states.

If your project requires significant travel, we’ll probably need to discuss transportation, lodging, admission, or other expenses even if I’m not charging anything for my participation.

Free collaboration does not automatically mean free airfare, free hotels, and Shaun financing the adventure.

That said, don't reject your own idea on my behalf.

It doesn't mean you automatically get my time, my image, my content, my travel, and unlimited rights to everything forever because no money changed hands.

It means we can get creative about what makes the collaboration worthwhile.

Maybe you photograph me and we both receive photographs we can use. Maybe we create content we can both publish. Maybe you have a professional skill or service I need. Maybe you provide access to a location, event, experience, audience, equipment, or opportunity. Maybe we cross-promote one another. Maybe there’s an affiliate relationship. Maybe expenses are covered. Maybe each of us walks away with something useful for our portfolio or platform.

And occasionally, maybe the idea is simply so unusual that getting to do it is enough for me.

That possibility is absolutely real.

WHAT DOES “FREE OR TRADE” ACTUALLY MEAN?

WHAT AM I ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR?

Here’s the fun part:

I don’t entirely know.

And I mean that as an invitation.

I’m deliberately keeping this broad because somebody reading this will eventually think of something I haven’t.

I want the expected ideas. I also want the ideas that make me stop reading the email halfway through and think, Well, I sure as hell haven't done THAT before.

If the collaboration makes sense, interests me, gives us both something worthwhile, or simply sounds like an experience I don’t want to miss, I’m willing to talk about it.

Still not sure whether your idea counts? Keep scrolling.

The possibilities get considerably broader from here.

ART, PHOTOGRAPHY & CREATIVE WORK

There are contexts in which nudity deserves to be treated seriously.

I would be genuinely interested in hearing about fine-art photography, figure studies, portraiture, gallery work, installations, performance art, experimental film, documentary projects, university or academic projects, and creative work examining the human body.

I’m particularly interested in thoughtful projects involving body image, aging, masculinity, identity, authenticity, nudism, exhibitionism, sexuality, LGBTQIA+ life, and the complicated relationship people have with being seen.

If you’re an artist, photographer, filmmaker, student, professor, researcher, curator, writer, or organization developing something substantive, please approach me that way.

Tell me what you’re exploring.

Tell me why nudity matters to the work.

And tell me why you think I belong in it.

I can take naked seriously.

I just don't think naked always has to be serious.

INTERVIEWS, PODCASTS, MEDIA & EDUCATION

Want to interview me?

Absolutely.

I’m comfortable discussing nudism, exhibitionism, body acceptance, sexuality, gay male identity, masturbation, authenticity, education, changing careers, putting my real name on an unconventional public life, and why on earth someone would build a website like this one.

I’m open to podcasts, video interviews, documentaries, articles, profiles, research interviews, panels, educational conversations, and other media projects.

And here's something worth knowing:

I would prefer to be naked and exposed during the whole intereview.

If having a naked interview subject makes the project more interesting, more authentic, more visually compelling, or simply more memorable, pitch it that way.

You can remain completely dressed.

I’m fine with that.

Actually, I might find the contrast rather interesting.

LGBTQIA+ PROJECTS? YES, PLEASE.

I especially want to hear from LGBTQIA+ creators, publications, organizations, businesses, venues, events, podcasters, artists, photographers, filmmakers, educators, researchers, and community groups.

The project doesn't have to be about being gay.

It certainly can be.

It can also be about nudity. Bodies. Aging. Sex. Art. Community. Humor. Education. Visibility. Shame. Pride. Freedom. Exhibitionism. Or something that has absolutely nothing to do with any of those things.

Sometimes queer people can just make cool shit together.

A good idea doesn't become better because it came with corporate letterhead.

Independent creators and individuals are every bit as welcome here.

AND SOMETIMES I CAN JUST BE THE NAKED GUY

Not everything needs a dissertation attached to it.

Maybe you're organizing something and want an unusual participant.

Maybe you're photographing a group of fully dressed people and think one naked guy in the middle would make the image.

Maybe you want to interview somebody naked.

Maybe you have a concept that works specifically because I'm exposed and nobody else is.

Fine by me.

I don't need everybody around me to match my level of undress.

You don't have to be naked because I am. Your comfort with my nudity matters. Your willingness to join me in it doesn't.

And if the contrast between everybody else's clothes and my complete lack of them is actually the point?

Now you've got me curious.

BRANDS, AFFILIATES & CROSS-PROMOTION

I'm open to partnerships that genuinely fit me, this website, and the people who visit it.

That could mean affiliate relationships, reciprocal promotion, guest content, creator crossovers, product or service collaborations, or other mutually useful arrangements.

I'm particularly interested in things connected to nudism, masturbation, LGBTQIA+ life, body acceptance, adult-friendly travel and experiences, photography and art, grooming, tattoos and body modification, and other areas that actually make sense here.

If I receive money, free products or services, commissions, or another material benefit from something I promote, I'll disclose the relationship.

I want interesting partnerships.

I don't want ShaunMcMurtrie.com to turn into QVC with a naked host. (Wait, do you want a naked host for YOUR shopping channel? I AM into doing that!)

THE EXPOSED BATOR ISN’T JUST A CUTE NAME

Masturbation is a real part of my adult identity and something I'm very comfortable discussing and performing openly.

I'm interested in masturbation-related interviews, conversations, education, demonstrations, research, media projects, and adult creator collaborations.

We can call it masturbation when we're being educational.

We can call it jerking off when we're not.

Want to interview me about masturbation?

Ask.

Want to discuss why somebody would make masturbation part of a public identity?

Definitely ask.

Want an unconventional adult interview or podcast in which you're fully clothed while I'm naked and masturbating?

Yeah. You can ask me about that too.

Being horny doesn't automatically make an idea stupid. Sometimes sexuality itself is what makes a project interesting, funny, provocative, revealing, or worth talking about.

AND YES, SEX IS ON THE TABLE

LET'S MAKE PORN!

Sex can be part of a collaboration.

Being naked doesn't mean I've agreed to sex. But, if you want to make some content of me having sex with your or others, just pitch your idea. I have a Justfor.Fans page where I post my content, as well as short form content on X and BlueSky. I do not use OnlyFans just because much of my material would not be permitted on that site.

Being sexual doesn't mean I've agreed to every sexual idea. We should both know what we're considering before anybody shows up. We'll discuss boundaries, consent, recording, publication, and anything else that matters beforehand.

No assumptions.

No surprise additions.

No "I figured you'd probably be into it."

LAST NOTE: IF I’M IN IT, MY NAME IS IN IT

This matters.

I’m Shaun McMurtrie. I want people to know that.

I didn't build an entire public project around being exposed under my real name just to become "anonymous naked guy" when I appear in somebody else's work.

For public projects, I generally expect to be appropriately identified and credited as Shaun McMurtrie, wherever credits make sense. Yes, that means if you want me for your porn project, I want to be credited under my real name too!

Obviously, not every photograph, event, social post, or piece of media has formal credits. We can use common sense.

But if you're specifically looking for somebody who will pose naked as long as nobody ever finds out who he is, I'm probably not your guy.

I'm doing almost the exact opposite.

Being seen is part of this. Being named is part of this. I want to be exposed.
