An unnecessarily authoritative guide to nudity, bating, exposure, and other words you probably understood perfectly well before arriving here.
Editorial Note: The definitions below are intended to be genuinely useful. The commentary accompanying them is intended to be significantly less useful.

See also: ass; naked; exposed; private parts, increasingly a misnomer

See also: testicles; private parts
BARE

Uncovered; unclothed; exposed to view.
Usage note: A perfectly respectable English word that has been carrying an absolutely unreasonable amount of the pun workload around here.
See also: naked; nude; my ass

Usage note: Shaun's least photogenic condition.
See also: temporary inconvenience

IDENTITY EXPOSURE
noun | i·den·ti·ty ex·po·sure
The deliberate act of making absolutely fucking sure people know exactly who the person doing all this exposing actually is.
In Shaun's case, this means putting his real name alongside his face, body, nudity, sexuality, exhibitionism, bator identity, writing, education, professional history, and assorted other things most people would normally distribute among several usernames, three locked accounts, and a browser history they intend to take to the grave.
And because apparently simply telling you his name wasn't exposed enough, identity exposure may also include sharing appropriate documentation, licenses, records, credentials, photographs, or other receipts that establish: Yep. That's really him.
The objective is not merely: “Look at this naked guy.”
It is: “Look at this naked guy. His name is Shaun McMurtrie. And for reasons we're still investigating, he is showing his ID to us while naked and hard."
Usage note: Most people use the internet to protect the connection between their legal identity and their sexual identity.
Shaun appears to have interpreted that as a challenge.
Example: Shaun practiced identity exposure by putting his real name on an adult website and then providing enough corroborating evidence that nobody could reasonably accuse him of insufficient commitment to the bit.
Identity exposure should not be confused with having no boundaries. Shaun still decides what he shares and what remains private.
It's just that once he decides to share something, his preferred approach seems to be: “Fuck anonymity. Put my name on it.”

NATURISM

Nudity occurring without sexual intent or activity, such as social nudism, changing clothes, bathing, art, or simply being comfortable unclothed.

Both facts have somehow managed to coexist without the universe collapsing.

Naked sounds like something interesting is about to happen.

PA
abbreviation | P.A.
An abbreviation that, depending entirely on context, may refer to Pennsylvania, the U.S. state in which Shaun lives, or a Prince Albert, a type of genital piercing through the penis.
Usage note: For most Pennsylvanians, saying “I have a PA” would be a geographically confusing way of describing their home state.
For Shaun, both interpretations are correct.
Example: Shaun lives in PA and has a PA.
This sentence is simultaneously informative, anatomically relevant, and completely fucking useless.
See also: Pennsylvania; Prince Albert; penis; context is important

We were surprised too.

See also: boundaries

PRIVATE PARTS
plural noun; euphemistic | pri·vate parts
A euphemistic term for the genitals or other intimate areas of the body traditionally kept covered from public view.
Usage note: An increasingly inaccurate description on ShaunMcMurtrie.com.
At this point, “public parts” may be more factually defensible.
See also: penis; balls; nudity; privacy, allegedly
RECEIPTS
plural noun | re·ceipts
Evidence, documentation, records, photographs, credentials, publications, or other material used to substantiate a statement, identity, experience, or claim.
On ShaunMcMurtrie.com, receipts refers to the assorted documentation Shaun may choose to share to demonstrate that the person, history, credentials, and experiences described on the website actually belong to Shaun McMurtrie.
In other words: Proof that this isn't some elaborate naked-man fan fiction.
Usage note: Most people saying “Here's a picture of my diploma” are trying to prove they graduated. Shaun is apparently assembling a documentary evidence trail establishing that the naked exhibitionist with a doctorate and the respectable guy whose name appears on the paperwork are, inconveniently for anyone hoping for a simpler explanation, the same fucking person.
Example: The skeptical visitor requested receipts. Shaun, misunderstanding this as encouragement, returned with three forms of ID, naked with a hardon.
Editorial note: Sensitive information should obviously be redacted before publication. Identity exposure is fun. Identity theft is a considerably shittier Easter egg.

Usage note: There appears to be rather a lot of him on this website.
In several senses.
TAINT
noun | taynt
The delightfully unofficial name for the perineum—the stretch of skin between the genitals and the anus.
Why “taint”? Because it ain’t the sack, and it ain’t the ass. It’s the little neighborhood caught somewhere in between.
Also known as the gooch, grundle, or chode shelf, depending on how much dignity you've decided to leave at the door.
The taint: proof that sometimes anatomy is easier to understand when you just admit, “It ain’t either one.”

A FINAL NOTE FROM THE EDITORS
Language evolves. Sexual language evolves particularly quickly, presumably because human beings have demonstrated extraordinary creativity whenever presented with the opportunity to avoid saying masturbation.
Definitions on this page may therefore be added, amended, expanded, corrected, or subjected to increasingly terrible jokes without notice.
If you've encountered a term elsewhere on this site that you think belongs here, tell me.
If you genuinely learned something, wonderful.
If you laughed, even better.
And if you read an entire dictionary of nudist and masturbation terminology voluntarily...
You've clearly cum to the right fucking website!
